Permanent Work

 

 

This permanent work consists of seven house-like columns placed alongside a public cycleway.

Each 'house' is made from a different material-stone, lead,brick, copper, steel, concrete and wood. On each end 'face' a stainless-steel plate has a specific text-heading redefining the word Home. On the opposite end face another stainless-steel plate contains a dictionary definition and a collection of seven synonyms for that particular word.

The work covers a stretch of pathway approximately 500M.
