This
installation took place in June 2000. The exhibition was shared with
the Polish painter Jadwiga Sawicka.
All
the work was made in situ. 10 days before the opening to the public.
On the left is a general installation view showing 'Barrier' in centre,
'Still Life' on back left and the paintings of Jadwiga Sawicka on right
rear wall.
'Barrier'
The details
below show gold-painted wire 'drawings' of the house profiles. The barrier,
itself, is made from wood and rope- the floor painted green. Overall
size 5m-60cm-1m-20cm high.
Each house 'profile' (11 in total) is equally spaced along the length
of the rope barrier.

work shown on the right shows a detail of 'Still Life'- (breakfast)-wax
casts of a cup, bowl, plate and cutlery were melted onto a wax-covered
steel plate (120cm -90cm)
